Effective communication is a key skill in today’s professional landscape, especially in roles where reading comprehension is crucial. WeCP’s AI-powered English Reading Skill Assessment is designed to evaluate a candidate’s reading abilities accurately and efficiently. Here's a detailed look at how WeCP assesses English reading skills using state-of-the-art AI technology.

Overview of WeCP’s English Reading Assessment

The WeCP English Reading Skill Assessment requires candidates to read a predefined English paragraph aloud. The task is designed to measure their reading accuracy, speed, pronunciation, expression, and word recognition. Candidates’ reading abilities are assessed based on their real-time reading performance, allowing WeCP's AI to deliver an objective and comprehensive evaluation.

Once candidates submit their reading task, the evaluation process is carried out immediately by WeCP AI, offering valuable insights into the candidate’s reading proficiency.

Note: WeCP currently supports only a paragraph dictation task, where candidates are required to read aloud a given English paragraph. This task focuses on evaluating the candidate's ability to read and pronounce words accurately while maintaining a balanced pace and appropriate expression.
