Why Auto-Scheduled Reminders?

In the past, recruiters had to manually set reminder emails for each test. That led to missed notifications and lower turnout. With WeCP’s auto-scheduled reminders, once you set the test timeframe, the platform automatically selects the most relevant reminder intervals—saving you time while improving candidate participation.

How Reminder Scheduling Works

The moment you define the test timeframe (start and end date), WeCP configures the reminders based on how far that window is from the current date.

Timeframe Duration From Today

Auto-Reminder Schedule

More than 2 months away

1 month, 1 week, 1 day, 1 hour before test starts

1–2 months away

1 week, 1 day, 1 hour before

1–4 weeks away

1 day, 1 hour before

Less than 24 hours away

1 hour before only

Reminders are sent relative to the test start time, but configured as soon as the test timeframe is set.

Can I Still Customize Reminders?

Yes, absolutely. Even though reminders are pre-scheduled, you can:

  • Adjust timing (e.g., remove the 1-day reminder or add a custom one).

  • Edit email content and tone.

  • Add additional reminders beyond what’s auto-generated.

To edit reminders:

  1. Go to your Assessment Settings in WeCP.

  2. Click the Reminders tab.

  3. Make your changes and save.

Why This Matters
